Meet your tutor
This course will provide young people with an overview of how money and banks work. It will also help them understand the importance of saving and managing money.
Most importantly, it aims to make money accessible and engaging. Topics include understanding what money is, what a budget can look like, how bank accounts work, how to spend and save thoughtfully. We will also touch on the basics of investing, among other things.
Students are never too young to start learning about money - they'll be dealing with it every day of their lives, so learning to manage it is key!
Should the course not meet the minimum student number requirements, we will contact you within 72 hours of the start of the course with a full refund.

Meet Roshan!
I am a qualified teacher with over five years of full time tutoring experience in the UK. I hold a Biomedical Science degree from Imperial College London and a PGCE (teacher training qualification) from the University of Warwick. I have tutored over fifty students in one or more of my specialist areas (Maths, Biology and Spanish) and have received very favourable reviews. Aside from my tuition work, I have also worked in the educational field in other capacities, including marking exams, interviewing prospective supply teachers and working as a supply teacher in primary schools.
As a tutor, I have taught students of all ages from those in Year 1 right up to those doing their A-Levels. I aim to build students' confidence by highlighting their natural strengths – I have found that even the most reluctant students tend to have a set of skills that they can put to use to help them boost their grades. One of my key objectives is to help students develop a deep understanding of the subject and the initiative to tackle challenging questions. This requires them to feel safe and comfortable during lessons and so building a strong working relationship with them is essential.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading. I have also been experimenting with cooking and making short films and I am slowly getting better at both!
