Each day we will focus on a different topic, from experimenting with chemical reactions to understanding the important role of microorganisms to learning about the phenomena of refraction. There really will be something for everyone! Your scientific curiosity will be inspired as we explore the world of biology, chemistry and physics in fun and practical ways!
Our Curious Scientists Camp will take place daily at the following schedule:
Monday 5th April to Friday 9th April 2021
10.30am – 11.30am (Age 7-11)
I attended Oxford Brookes University, where I studied Psychology and received a First Class Honours degree. I was awarded the prestigious Michael Argyle Award for my final year dissertation, which led to it being published. I was awarded a PGCE from Oxford Brookes University. I am a fully qualified teacher with six years teaching experience. I have taught in both state and independent schools in the UK and Dubai. I have taught throughout the primary setting, from EYFS to Year 6. Additionally, I have experience of teaching some subjects to KS3 pupils. I am also able to teach Psychology to GCSE and A Level standard. I have been a 1:1 tutor for four years. I strongly believe that creating a caring and encouraging environment helps to foster independent pupils, who develop a natural love of learning and an ability to reach their aspirations and individual dreams. I have a devoted passion for making a positive impact on the learning experiences of my pupils, and believe that a happy pupil is one who is confident and willing to take risks in their learning. I am passionate about holistic learning, and strongly believe that education should be fun, enjoyable and encompass all areas of development. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the world through my toddler’s eyes; being present in the moment and appreciating the small things. I practise Qi Gong daily, and am passionate about living mindfully. During the holidays, I enjoy travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures.
